Oral Defense |
Oral Defense is the result of over a decade of research and development by a diverse scientific team at Gonzaga University. In working with patients living with AIDS, Cancer and other diseases marked by a compromised immune system, the team noted the consequences of not only controlling harmful bacteria, but the necessity of developing a formulation that did not further damage the inflamed oral epithelial tissues.

Dr. Steven Jones was born and raised in Spokane. He graduated from North Central H.S. and Eastern Washington University and received his doctorial degree in Dental science at Marquette University School of Dentistry. His passion to serve others through the practice of dentistry came at the early age of seven. His family dentist Dr. James Psomas realized his enthusiasm and has encouraged him and mentored him through and after his formable years. Dr. Jones has made it his goal since 2004 to provide his services to the more unfortunate in other countries that could not otherwise receive affordable dental care. He enjoys golf, hockey boating and the great outdoors. Dr. Jones is married to Jill (Sawyer) and they have three boys, Kyle, Cameron & Brendan. 
Allie comes to Jones Dentistry with three years of experience and brings a fresh perspective and an eagerness to treat and educate our patients in oral hygiene; she has been with us since August of 2010. Allie was born and raised in Spokane. She graduated as Valedictorian from University High School while also receiving an Associate of Arts Degree from Spokane Community College at the age of 18. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University and minor degree in Health Sciences. Allie has a passion for serving others and has joined Dr. Jones in dental mission work in the Dominican Republic. Her love for people and enthusiasm for volunteering will undoubtedly guide her as she pursues more service opportunities throughout her career. Allie values spending time with family and friends and enjoys participating in a multitude of outdoor activities including rock climbing, backpacking, skiing, running, and playing volleyball.
